Grace's phonics lesson
Grace's mum wrote: Grace has had a productive last couple of days. She has been practicing her phase 3/4 tricky words and blending. She has been listening to jolly phonics on the you tube and using her white board to follow instructions. Grace found 5 items from the garden and drew them along with naming them. Grace also wanted to read Green Eggs and Ham this week. I asked her to choose her favourite page and to draw the picture on that page and to write the caption. We then looked at the digraph’s in the words she had written.

The three little pigs
Grace's mum wrote: Grace’s chosen task this morning was to watch The Three Little Pigs. We then talked about how she would make her own trap for the bad wolf. She is going to paint a picture of the little pigs house which is made of bricks. Beside it Grace paints a deep hole that she wants to fill with fire. Grace said she will cover the hole with sticks to hide the hole so that the wolf will walk on it and fall straight in. I then suggested that the fire might burn the sticks. Grace agrees that this would happen and so went on to say that we will make it a deep hole without fire then! Then cover it with sticks.
